At Compassion Surf City, you’ll find a loving, Christ-centered community where lives are being transformed through God’s Word, healing is found through biblical care, and real friendships are built through doing life together. We’d love to meet you, pray with you, and walk alongside you as you discover God’s purpose for your life.

What to Expect
What kind of church is Compassion Surf City?
We’re a Christ-centered, Bible-teaching church that believes in loving God, loving people, and walking with one another in grace and truth. We’re part of the Calvary Chapel Association and grounded in God’s Word, prayer, and compassionate community.
Do you have weekend services?
Almost! We are prayerfully considering our next space. When ready, you can expect heartfelt worship, verse-by-verse teaching, and a welcoming atmosphere.
What should I wear?
Come as you are! Most people dress casually—jeans, sandals, and beachwear are totally normal here in Surf City.
Is there something for my kids?
While we’re growing into full children’s ministry programming, families are welcome to attend together, and we’re working toward adding more opportunities for kids and youth.
What is the atmosphere like?
Our gatherings are relaxed, relational, and Spirit-led. Whether you're hurting, healing, exploring faith, or growing deeper in discipleship, you’ll be welcomed with kindness and sincerity.
Do I need to sign up before attending?
No sign-up is needed—just come! If you'd like, you can [contact us] to let us know you’re coming so we can personally welcome you.
What kind of people attend your church?
We’re a diverse group—young and old, new believers and seasoned disciples, all walking together in faith and grace. Everyone is welcome.
How long are your services or gatherings?
Our Bible studies and worship services usually last about 75–90 minutes, with time for fellowship before and after.
